Shiver me timbers

I didn’t plan on August being so… um COLD. In the spring I bought exactly one pair of maternitiy jeans for the cooler months that are now painfully unbuttonable. (Should have purchased the type with the front stretchy panel and not the zippered ones… who knew. Tip of the day: panels are your friend!) And now I am pantless and cold in AUGUST. I shouldn’t be buying pants in August. The whole concept is just wrong.

The Monday transportation recap: did not get a priority seat on the #8 going home. Walked all the way to the back to find a seat. At least I got a seat in the end I guess. The experiment continues… how pregnant can you be and still not get a seat? Apparently, you can be a lot pregnant.

In other news, I have yet to master the whole “hey, I know you from your blog” greeting.  Especially in a maternity store when I am buying giant pants.  Hi.  Awkward.

Are you too shy to ask for a seat? It got to the point where I was saying “Hi I need a seat!” right as I was getting on the bus… sometimes there were already free seats.

Also, I am also quite the awkward at random internet meetings so it’s all good.

And I have a pair of panel jeans I only wore a couple times if you want them… Lemme know!

I am shy about asking for a seat… mainly because I think it should be *so* obvious. Next time, I’m totally going to ask.

Thanks for the jeans offer - if the weather keeps dipping, I may just have to email you about them!
