I will return shortly!
I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled blogging once the Ladyfest craft sale is over tomorrow. It’s my last show of the season and I’ve been busy getting last minute holiday items ready for the show on Saturday. Then it’s time to start putting up some decorations at home. The stockings that I ordered from Etsy are waiting for me at the post office and we have two bundles of red twigs just waiting to be fussed over.
I’ve also been posting some new recipes over at boyfriendlycooking.com. Because there’s always time to cook.
Don’t forget. Ladyfest craft sale! Tomorrow! Jack Purcell Centre from 10am – 5pm.

It’s here

Back to real life
This blog has been quiet for a few weeks – mostly due to upcoming craft shows: Cherry Pie just finished, Sandy Hill “One and Only” show on the 25th and finally Ladyfest on December 1. My home office has been turned upside down with paper, tags, tape, bookboard and ribbons. Now that I’m stocked and ready for these shows I can begin to relax and focus on real life.
I decided that my husband and I needed some Christmas stockings
and when I saw these patchwork stockings by mandinka over on Etsy, I knew they’d be perfect. As I call them.. not too “ho ho ho”.
I did an order of books from Blurb and they arrived last week as well. I totally recommend this service – they can pull photos right from your Flickr stream and the prebuilt layouts are classy and clean.
I’m hosting a little birthday party this weekend – which means there’ll likely be updates to my foodblog. I’m going to try a couple of new recipes… including baking a cake.
